Kristiansten Fortress
The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency manages 15 national fortifications all over Norway. They welcome a total of 3.3 million visitors a year. Kristiansten Fortress is situated in Central Norway, in Norway's third biggest city, Trondheim.
Opening hours and practical information
The fortress area is open from 8.00 to 21.00 in the summer season. And 09.00 to sunset in the winter season. As long as the flag is up, the fortress is open. The entrance to the fortress area is free. Museums, events, restaurants and concerts may have other opening hours and fees.
